네코양 집이 건대입구 근처다 보니 건대입구에서 자주 만납니다. 건대입구에는 우마이도라는 알아주는 일본라멘 전문점이 있는데 원채 라면류를 안좋아하는 네코양인지라 작년에 한번 가보고 못갔습니다. 그러다 지난주 만나서 뭘 먹을까 하다가 돈까스를 먹으러 가기로 하고 돈까스 잘 하는 집이라는 간판을 본 것 같아서 거길 가다가 같은 층에 있는 일본라멘 전문점 멘무샤에 즉흥적으로 들어가게 되었습니다. (별다른 설득없이 네코양이 괜찮다고 하더군요. 거의 1년에 한번 있는 일입니다)
그때 먹은 라멘은 쿠로마유 돈코츠라멘과 나가사끼짬뽕 매운맛이었습니다. 나가사끼 짬뽕의 경우는 정말 이름 그대로 짬뽕맛인데 면이 얇아 느낌이 더 좋고 안에 들어있는 해산물도 어설프게 먹는 중국집 짬뽕보다 훨씬 알차더군요.
이후 라면류를 안좋아하는 네코양에게 또 슬쩍 떠봤는데 흔쾌히 또 가겠다고 하여 이번엔 쿠로마유 돈코츠라멘과 탄탄멘을 시켰습니다.
우선 쿠로마유 돈코츠 라멘입니다. 돈코츠 라멘에 마늘 기름과 마늘이 추가된걸로 예상합니다(돈코츠 라멘을 안먹어봐서;;). 국물을 사골로 하여 한국인에게 가장 안성맞춤이지 않을까 하는게 제 생각입니다. 더 먹을수만 있다면 밥까지 말아먹고 싶을 정도로 진국이어서 국물까지 쌱 비우게 되더군요. 이번엔 다른 라멘을 먹을려고 계획해놓고 이 라멘은 안정빵으로 한번 또 시킬정도로 추천할만한 라멘입니다.
사진에 면이 안나와서 살짝 걷어내고(라고 말은 해놓고 실은 먹다가..) 찍은 사진입니다. 고기도 토실토실(?)하며 면도 꼬들꼬들 참 맛있습니다. 면은 일본라멘 특징 그대로입니다.
(키를 잘못눌러서 와이드 모드) 이건 탄탄멘입니다. 지난번 나가사끼 짬뽕라멘과 쿠로마유 돈코츠 라멘 조합도 괜찮았으나 새로운걸 먹으려고 시도했습니다. 표현하자면 쿠로마유 돈코츠 라멘은 사골국물이 정말 죽이네, 나가사유 짬뽕은 정말 제대로 진국 짬뽕이네 였다면 이건 정말 라면이구나 하는 느낌이었습니다.
면은 같은 면이겠지요? 보기처럼 많이 얼큰하진 않지만 매운걸 잘 먹는 저만 그랬던듯 네코양은 한참 먹더니 맵다고 하더군요. 제 취향은 나가사끼 짬뽕 매운맛쪽이 훨씬 좋습니다.
라멘과 함께 단무지랑 김치를 주는데 단무지를 저렇게 잘라서 그런건지 따로 다르게 만든건지 입안에 있던 라멘의 느끼함을 샥 가셔줍니다.
그리고 물 대신 주는 이 자스민차가 라멘으로 가득했던 입안을 깔끔하게 마무리 지어줍니다. 만족스러운 부분중에 한가지입니다.
멘무샤 건대입구점 같은 경우는 호아빈과 매장을 함께 운영합니다. 덕분에 쌀국수를 싫어하는 네코양과 쌀국수를 한번 먹어보고 싶어하는 제가 타협할 수 있는 곳입니다. 사실 두번 다 저는 쌀국수를 먹겠노라며 들어간거였는데 메뉴판을 보고 마음을 바꿔서 일본라멘을 먹었습니다. 왠지 모르게 막상 메뉴판 그림을 보면 라멘이 더 땡긴단 말이죠;;
